I don't get it: Why is the cat so fat and big? Isn't it an adventurer? If it walks it will loose its weight very quickly and be able to hunt and eat humans! And Why the girl has so little and delicate hands? That's not cool for fantasy, everyone knows that in fantasy worlds, people have big hands to use swords!
Why does her weight even matter? Like, I think I lost something in translation lol but regardless this picture is beautifully done and all figures represented within it are adorable and I am favouriting it.
Hmm, interesting, I see. But to be sure: do you mean that she can't be fat because as an aventurer she does a lot of sport and has a very hectic life etc. (so she gets thin) or because being fat would be an incovenient for her adventures (or both)?
But that's not the real problem (and I don't get why everybody else here seems to ignore it), the real reason she can't be an adventurer is because of the tyre saw, it's just such a nuisance. I really don't understand why nobody said it. It's the only real reason because, honestly, it’s a fantasy magical world and we don’t know the story: maybe magic just eases her adventures so that her weight doesn’t stand in her way, maybe she’s a very bad adventurer and everything would be harder because of her weight (and that would be assumed in the story) and maybe she stays fat because (we both thought about it) she has polycystic ovarian syndrome and a failing thyroid and although she eats right and do exercise, she can’t loose weight… no, there’re really are too much possibilities. The only real valid reason it the tyre saw.
If this was medical, she wouldn't and couldn't go on a journey. If this was magical, she would prefer to get thin, since it bothers her less. If she was bad, she would still lose weight by simply walking.
"If this was medical, she wouldn't and couldn't go on a journey"... Unless it's the whoke point of the story, the story of a bad adventurer who has to be one, has no other choice (maybe the story explains that) but she can't be, so it's complicated, she can't go easily on a journey, maybe she gets help with magical things (magical way to move?) blahblahblah"(maybe she rides the big cat? 'don't know)?
"If this was magical, she would prefer to get thin, since it bothers her less." Unless some things are possible with magic (to find a way to travel easily) and somes are not (to get thin) because, let's be honest, magic is always the pathetic excuse (with its arbitrary rules) to do whatever the story-teller wants and turn unlogic to logic and logic to unlogic (Harry Potter and many other stories like sadly showed it enough... :' "If she was bad, she would still lose weight by simply walking." Not whith the syndrome we talked about before (you're clever so you already know that). Once again, there's only one explanation : the tyre saw.
No tyre saw = no adventurer. This is so obvious that it makes me sick that nobody noticed. Sick sad world.
Well, seriously, if you wanted to know more about my chara, you could have asked me directly.
What you do here is just sending a controversy sentence so you can enjoy people reaction. (and I nearly feel bad for myself because I am wasting time answering you...but I do that for all the people who took part of the discussion)
But thank you for your contribution, because you still took time to look at the art.
(an answer is not mandatory ^^)
Dictons phylosophiques de fin :
- La culture c'est comme la confiture, moins on en a, plus on l'étale
- Qu'on aime ou qu'on aime pas, l'important c'est qu'on parle de ça
Lol best argument ever XD Do you talk about logic? What about the human sized cat with blue marks and the otter with horns? Come on, don't try to defend you fat shaming comment with this stereotyped nonsense about "aventurer can't be fat".
A fantastic environment doesn't allow it to be incoherent and illogical. Look at every fantasy tales. Is there any fat guy in there? No, because someone who travel across the lands (without car or McDonald's on the path) need to be in good condition. Her cardiovascular system is a wreck with vessels strtched to accomodate the excess fat. Her skeletal system, expecially around her foot, is a constant struggle against gravity due to her excessive weight.
I just came here to put a comment about art and only art and what I see , this comment. I don't normally say a thing when I see comment like this on artists page. But if you're speaking about "adventurer can't be fat", I suggest you to write your point of view of G.R.R Martin . Samwell Tarly is not that we can talk an aventurer, Hodor too, but they are and they travel accross the land and they're not eating at Macdo ^.^. So I think you're just saying nonsense and you try to hide your true feelings about this character that you don't like, because she's not a beautiful curvy one like fantasy babe.
They're not fat at all, they just have an endomorphic body. It's completely different. Plus I strongly suggest you to keep your psychology, I really appreciate this art, but this doesn't make sense, that's all.
